Email Marketing Manager 

This fast-growing digital consulting and e-commerce agency is a leader in the Shopify movement in the UK, US, Europe and Australia, with teams located in the UK, Australia and France.Their focus is on creating nimble, flexible and cost-effective enterprise commerce solutions using Shopify Plus - the fastest growing enterprise e-commerce platform on the planet, whilst providing a multi-discipline eCommerce growth service, the Growth Accelerator. We are looking for an Email Marketing Manager to run highly-effective email marketing strategies across a number of fast-moving and growing accounts. 

About the role

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in email marketing within the e-commerce sector, with a focus on driving growth across a number of accounts. 
  • It will involve using a data-led approach to email strategy in order to recommend growth and commercial opportunities for our ambitious clients.
  • The candidate will need to be able to communicate their strategy and go into detail at campaign and automation level, as well as configure, launch, manage, analyse and optimise. The candidate will also have technical skills in order to maximise the capabilities of emails within a chosen platform (preferably Klaviyo). 
  • They will need to be a great communicator and team player in order to effectively brief our designers and copywriters on creative and content, whilst also being able to project manage strategies from idea through to launch. 
  • The candidate must also be transparent in their communication, sometimes handling difficult conversations and be able to manage the relationship with clients. 
  • They will work with our strategists and the rest of the marketing team to test and optimise their campaigns and automations.
  • The candidate will need razor-sharp reporting skills for campaign ROI, analysing data to identify trends (in conjunction with our analysts) and report on key performance indicators for insightful recommendations on next steps.
  • The ideal candidate is ambitious and shows industrious client leadership, constantly identifying opportunities for growth.
  • The candidate will preferably have experience using Klaviyo and Shopify.

Role Requirements (Essential)

  • Proven experience working in ecommerce email marketing (and SMS as desirable).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience to inform email marketing strategies. 
  • Experience using Klaviyo (preferably), but also other platforms such as Dotdigital, Emarsys or Ometria.
  • A good understanding of and ability to undertake the technical aspects of email marketing, within a platform (preferably Klaviyo).
  • A good communicator with strong writing skills.
  • Detail-oriented and data-led.
  • A proactive approach to learning personally and professionally.
  • Tech-savvy self-starter capable of running multiple campaigns independently whilst also being a proactive team-player who can contribute with marketing ideas across other channels.
  • A collaborator, comfortable working closely with Head of Growth, Digital Marketing Managers, Analysts, Digital Strategists and the Project Management team.
  • A solid understanding of and appreciation for the full customer journey and how email marketing integrates with other marketing channels and the onsite customer experience.
  • Outstanding presentation skills; oral and written for reporting to clients.

Role Requirements (Desirable)

  • Experience with other advertising channels, including paid and social. 
  • Experience of working with Shopify, ideally with knowledge of other e-commerce platforms (e.g. Magento, Hybris, Demandware, BigCommerce etc).
  • Technical skill and an ability to integrate email marketing systems. 



  • Salary £28,000 - £36,000 based on experience
